Great Expectations

I am glad to see that Pip was able to experience both sides of life. He got to be rich and poor all in one lifetime and although there are many people who are able to experience the same thing within a lifetime it is usually people who were once rice and are now poor. You barely ever see a poor person get rich and then get poor again. One of our greatest examples of this is Oprah Winfrey. She came from extreme poverty to extreme richness. Although, Pip lost part of who he was when he made the shift I like the fact that he still maintained part of who he was in the end. I am also glad that he was able to acknowledge Magwitch for his hard work and care to gave Pip all that he had. It is funny how money can change someone but in the end I think Pip learned a valuable lesson and as an artist once put it, "the more money you have, the more problems you have".
