Hamlet: Act 2
Hamlet is a sad case. I don't view him as a coward for not wanting to follow through with the ghost's wishes. While it is expected for Hamlet to be angry at the cause of his father's death...do we really expect him to avenge it? We always want to assume that if God forbid anything was to happen to a loved one...we would run out to seek vengeance on the one who hurt them. But at what cost? Would we risk our lives to do so? Though I do not know if I would go as far as acting like I am crazy...I don't think that I would have the strength to physically hurt someone else. Now of course, there are other ways of seeking vengeance. Hamlet's play was a good way for letting out the truth of his uncle's atrocious events.
