Love = Desire, Desire =Love

I know we were assigned specific poems from Coleridge but I looked up some of his other poems and came across this verse in his poem Desire, "Where true Love burns Desire is Love's pure flame". I think this quote is very profound. I think it explains love in a very enticing and attractive manner. Many people think love is lust but it is not. Lust is more of a craving that is temporary while desire is more of a strong wish which will not go away if true love is in the equation. I think people can lust for something without loving it but you must love something in order to desire and vice versa.
