Wasteland

What is amazing about this poem is the one thing that makes it so hard to understand. The way it jumps to different speakers and memories captures the true loss of the war. Peoples' dreams and memories of the way things were were lost. The world was desolate and the war could not be forgotten and neither could its damage.
