Canterbury Tales, Penguin

i have to say when i first started reading Canterbury Tales, it was hard to understand. but i like how he had a saying for each person. i have to say it was a good thing that we go over the reading in class because i find it helps me a lot.

I agree! Many English teacher dont go over the material and just expect you to know everything that you read at home. I love how we read in class and go over all the important facts. The characters in the story are very interesting to read about. I also love how we are reading between the lines.

I also agree!
This class actually helped me make inferences about characters I wouldnt have looked deeper into otherwise. Like the fact that John should probably NOT be pitied because, MOST LIKELY, against Alison's will, he took a young bride when he was an old man. Not a very nice thing to do to a young woman. Would I have thought about this without a detailed discussion in class? Nope.
