the Miller's Tale
while reading the miller's tale, i was ready to be yet again amazed at the language that the author uses to describe thos story. his use of sexual innuendos is not only confusing, its funny to read these words, knowing that this is taking place years ago. it is somehow satirical as well, especially the branding on the buttox in the end, it sounds like something you would watch nowadays in a cartoon, so the author is here making light of a very dangerous situation. after going over it in class, more and more information comes out, and were digging deeper and deeper into the mind of the author, noticing he has a flare for satire and not telling the whole truth

I must agree Chacuer is a intellectual and that is why people are still anyalzing, and discussing his work. Good post...you just need to use spell check/grammer before you post.
Peace
I should take my own advice. Sorry.

Chaucer's choice of words in the Miller's Tale also surprised me. The vulgarity added to the humor of the story and shows how dynamic Chaucer can be in his writing.
