Canterbury Tales

I remember doing part of Canterbury Tales in High School but I was kind of bored with it then. However, when we were in class and our eyes were opened to the sexual connotations in the writing I found that very interesting. It's very cool how you could read something one time, and then after reading between the lines see the same text in two completely different lights. I'm looking forward to seeing what else I did not notice about each of the characters the first time.

You are right, Michelle. I never had to read this in high school, though. I went to an international high school, thus the school curriculum was different for us. However, I do agree with the fact that college has opened my eyes to many things, especially in reading between the lines and picking out important themes. I am glad it's making more sense to me now after our first class on discussing Canterbury Tales!
