The general prolouge for Chaucer was very interesting. The story was told with a rhyme which made it more enjoyable for me to read. I liked that most of the lines rhymed and that this technique continued throughout the whold prologue. The characters were given vivid and distinct descriptions which allowed me to understand each one more clearly and make disctinctions between the characters. The characters seemed to be realistic as we discussed in class. None of them had any superpowers but were rather regular people living regular everyday lives. The prolouge kept me interested in the book and was a good way to make me want to keep reading.
