Canterbury Tales

Chaucer's Canterbury Tales seems very real to me. I feel as though I can relate to the characters. I like the rhythmic tone the author uses. It allows the story to flow. When reading it before today's class, I just read the introductory paragraph without actually taking apart each sentence. After being introduced to the different meaning of what Chaucer is writing, I think that from now on, I will start to try and interpret other books I read. I liked the depiction of each character who is joining the narrator on the pilgrimage. The way Chaucer portrays the characters is very descriptive.
