Canterbury Tales Reflections: The Prologue
Chaucer's novel is written in a poetic narrative. The advantages of this style is that Chaucer can add, criticize and respond to societal issues in a subtle manner. When reading Chaucer's Prologue, each read reveals more information and more content value. I think by using this method Chaucer adds more value and interest to the book. He presents the characters, all different parts of society. By looking closely different aspects of society,at this time are revealed. I enjoy the fact that there is deeper meaning to the Canterbury Tales.
