The shipman's Tale

Interesting Story but it is sad , i mean very sad that the Monk got away unpunished for what he did.Sir John really took the friendship for granted and betrayed not on his friend and cousin the merchant, but also reinforced the common fear of people putting their trusts in Monks.Well i guess that is the beauty of this writing.It gives the readers the choice to really be their own judges.I think think that the merchant's wife managed well to hide the truth from her husband.Sad but that is what is happening in everyday.I think that the morality here is : be careful who you trust and if you really can don't have a Monk as a friend.
