Federic Douglas

When I started BC, I saw a documentary about Frederic Douglas and his accomplishments. And now reading the book, it is completely fascinating how he created himself to be well educated from not knowing how to write his name and not knowing his birthday to a person that became a famous abolitionist and now a known figure through out the world. His figure will be important in history that we can actually see his action to a positive outcome in the today's world. I find him inspiring and someone that never gave up to reach his goal.
