Greater Expectations of Myself!

I love great expectations and wish that I had mroe time to get into it at a leisurely pace!!.. I love pip and find his character endearinga nd sad ... although Pip is forced to grow up wuickly and deal wuith things that he should have to ...he has not lost any innocence because he is pure of heart. I think he represents a part of all of us... and the characters around him all share sides of what I feel are the flaws of adulthood. There is some perfection in the ignorrance of youth, and a horrible trade is made in order to "grow up " and mature. Like I said I wish I had more of an opportunity to enjoy the book!
