Oddly Enough...

(Or maybe Unfortunately enough!!) I saw the movie Great Expectations before I read it.  I had encountered it before a few times throughout my academic career, but had never taken the time to actually sit and read it cover to cover leisurely.  I cannot even say that I didnt rush through it this time but it was the frst time I read it fully though after watching the movie.  I dont know why i brought that up!!...moving along!!.. I Identify with each of the characters in this story however the one I dentify with the most is Pip.  Dickens seamlessly weaves together the innocence and flaws of character into a beautiful rendering of the human condition.
