Techniques by T.S. Eliot

While reading T.S Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" I noticed a few interesting methods that Eliot used. He used a lot of repition. Repitition in actual sections and between sections. He seemed to be having conversations in the midst of his poem. He has a unique way of using rhymes. Every paragraph seems to have unique rythmic schemes. He seems to have an underlying meaning to the poem that is covered by his unique methods and style. I look foward to uncovering the real meaning behind the poems as we delve into them during class.

Honestly, I had trouble understanding the poems. But I was able to notice that the use of repetition in this poem is very powerful in conveying its message. I can't wait myself to make some sense out of it!
