At First Glance

After reading Coleridge’s poems for the first time I noticed a few common themes. He composes poems that flow like stories. Yet they are poems. He finely weaves segments of the tale together. He creates vivid images and transports the reader but does so with descriptive yet subtle language. He starts and ends with his main theme. Coleridge probably stopped his lines specifically at certain words, brought certain descriptions and intended deeper meaning.
