Carcass
Ok... First I was all about Baudelaire( and I still am...) but I am really disturbed by his chosen subject matter. I think its the marriage between the dour subject matter and the beautiful compostion is very disturbing ( but I love It!!) Who writes about a decomposing carcass. Is the carcass? To whom is Baudelaire speaking ?? I hate being confused and scared!!

I agree that this work is disturbing. I wonder that when people read this poem, did'nt they thought that Charles Baudelaire needed to go to a psychiatrist???
I think this is one-time read poem. You will probably will not read this one a second time or not even finish reading this poem. Heheh...
