Carcass

As a fan of the "gore" genre, like SAW, I didnt react as negatively as expected. I DID find Baudelaire's poetry to be disgusting in a realistic sort of way, but I do agree that in the end, there is a sort of beauty in his words. Using such cavalier and "romantic" lines mixed in with his gory descriptions of death shows how Baudelaire viewed death as just another thing in life that everyone goes through and he accepted that, which was far more than anyone can say for the rest of french society in those days.
