meeting wordswoth in her tears....

Today, I met Wordsworth.  Prior to todays class I was not really interested in Wordsworth...he didn't seem like he was worth my time.  I work  two jobs and run around like a nutcase trying to balance my passion (music) with reality and it is hard.  ... So i didnt have time for wordsworth...didnt have time... for Wordsworth.  In hindsight I feel foolish saying so...

At first I beleived his prose to be wordy ...but through HER tears in front of me I saw them as passionate.  I don't know maybe I am sold on some (ideology that is not my own)
sold by soemone else's passion ...but then again ...isn't that what I do when i write songs.

So...I wen't back and I read it..... Tinturn Abbey.... words written over landscape embodying the landscape of "hope"...super deep.

I agree with you in her tears i found the beauty of the poem. I read it over just as you did and i was amazed how meaningful it is. Like Prof. Nadell said " Sometimes you have to read it slow". Peace
