Romantic Poetry

I've learned that "romantic" poetry doesnt have to be about love. This beautiful poem written by Wordsworth was about nature!

I truly do appreciate the poem more now that we've discussed it in class. What I love about this poem is that YOU can be the poet, I can be the poet for it, etc. Wordworth can put words to feelings, a very unique talent and so hard to do. I feel like I could be the poet, looking back on my past, and connecting it to a beautiful natural landscape, looking into the future for my neice of nephew. I also feel like I can be the sister, and it's someone I love saying these words to me.

To me, the poem is trying to say that there is something more than just the physical to connect people to each other, and that nature and the feelings resulting from it, are an example of that.
