Tinturn Abbey

I didn't really "see" Wordsworth as what he really is upon initially reading Tinturn Abbey initially. However coming to class and reading it with the professor changed my mind. I have never seen someone so moved by the "Words" of another...never. Through HER emotion, I met the true depth of the words...but would I have heard them eventually by muyself?? hmmmm...

The professor's emotion also forced me to really look at the message Wordsworth was sending. Put in her her perspective, i understand why it was so touching. Wordsworth's message is one of hope in a world of destruction. It makes us appreciate the finer things in life.

I agree with the both of you. It really is a beautiful poem...When the professor was crying I wanted to hug her and say it's okay...And it's okay to cry when you feel like it. But I guess she feels comfortable with us to do that. That's actually kind of cool...
