bauldaire starts off with a description of the reader, which i feel is beyond taboo, he is offensing the readers of his work, his audience! he is forcing the reader to confronty parts of themselves that are uncomfortable, and that goes with out saying, even more uncomfortable in 1850!he piles society in a particular way, saying they are conventiaonal and that is conceived as something bad...because of his way of writing, they forced him to suppress some of it, understood, knowing that this is not so acceptable now, imagine in the 19th century!
