Kubla Khan
when i first read this poem i didn't understand it but with the class discussion made me understand it a little. it was a poem that opened up the door for many other poets. it should that poetry can show different types of themes. it showed how you can learn form life experiences and morals. but i have to say that his dream was very wierd and creepy.

I like the idea that it shows that we can learn from our experiences and our morals. I think that it is important to take what we know in life and apply it to other things and learn from what has happened to us.
I thought it was interesting in this poem that he wrote down his dream and this dream, is what became a poem. Cool! Other than that, I thought the poem was still a little far-fetched!
