kubla khan

I think kubla khan is a poem that will shock its readers for generations too come. It will never get old cause it was written so long ago. I like the way Coleridge usees his words in such a descriptive way.

yes his words are descriptive, but sometimes too descriptive, sometimes making us all too uncomfortable, but i guess this is the way art is!

Art has to be shocking. If its not shocking then its not art.We dont appreciate it as much. Look how long this poem has been arond.

It is shocking but at the same time i feel some of it is uneccesary. Like it is written it for the sake of shocking and not for the sake of art.
