Carcass
I really liked this poem. He took what would be nothing less than just this gory vision and described it in this somewhat beautiful manner. It was explicit, allowing his readers to completely visualize this carcass the same way he did. I also liked the fact that this was very real. As we talked about it in class, people now have been spoiled compared to back in the days when it was common to see a dead body or anything we might find pretty gory today. We are constantly being kept from the ugly side of reality, which I blame no one for! Yet, I still enjoyed it!
